Allison Yong, MA, LMFT-Associate
Supervised by Becky Davenport, Ph.D., LMFT-S
Ally is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of Dr. Becky Davenport, Ph.D., LMFT-S. She received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, and a Bachelor’s in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Her clinical background has primarily been with an outpatient mental health agency on the outskirts of Baltimore, MD, where she provided therapy to children and adults, couples and families, varying in age, ethnicity, cultural background, gender, socioeconomic status, and religious affiliation. She acquired unique therapy experience working with trauma, blended families, immigration, personality disorders, military couples, as well as anxiety, depression, and adjustment. She currently works at the Institute for Couple and Family Enhancement, and considers it an honor to take part in the systemic work of reframing from problem-saturated to strengths-centered, replacing what was previously thought to be chronic and shameful, with a renewed sense of agency and creativity!
She can be found enjoying dinners with friends old & new, spending time with her husband and miniature golden doodle, savoring espresso & tiramisu, and picking up activities that will bring her outdoors and in the sunshine.
